Saghsara

Saghsara is an Armenian cultural research and documentary music project dedicated to discovering, preserving, and reimagining Armenia’s traditional folk music. The project brings together musicians, filmmakers, and sound artists who travel to remote regions of Armenia to record songs passed down through generations. Saghsara combines these authentic folk recordings with contemporary rock and experimental sounds, giving traditional Armenian music a new and modern expression. Their releases include “Zulo,” “Kaynel Es,” “Akh Tnaver,” and “Antskatsar Kshtitss.”
